Ideal for beginner knitters wanting to become familiar with knit and purl stitches.

This baby blanket has a simple pattern that is super easy to follow and creates a perfect blanket for a stroller. I’ve also included instructions to size up the blanket if you want to increase the size.

I have used two different yarns for this pattern, both of which are chunky in size so perfect for Autumn and Winter seasons. Paintbox yarns come in LOTS of fabulous colours. It is one of my favourite yarns because its reasonably price yet still incredibly soft and always receives compliments whether it is a vibrant colour like Jewel or a softer tone like this Elephant Grey. The second yarn is Rico Essential Mega Chunky in the colour Grass Green. This yarn has lovely stitch definition which brings to life the contrast in knit and purl stitches.

It uses 4 balls of yarn with enough leftover to make a cute hate to match :-)
