This is a simple Chunky Rainbow hat that is a fun way to add a little color to your life. It is a pretty quick and simple knit with just a little color work to make it interesting and add a pop of color! • Yarn: Chunky weight yarn (7-8 wraps per inch) Sample shown in Always Be Kind Yarn – Rainbows for Kaylan minis in Chunky 100% Super wash Merino – any chunky weight yarn can be used.
• Needles: Size 11 US/ 8 mm
• Approximately 50-60 yards main color AND Approx. 30 yards combined of rainbow colors (3 yards each color)
• Adult size Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL Cast on: 48, 52, 56, 60, 64 (samples show in Size Large)
• Skills required – Knitting in the round, Decreasing, simple colorwork, following a chart (or written instructions), Making a pom-pom if desired.
