The pattern on the back of these gloves is a lovely lace design that offers a mix of faux cables, eyelets and a central fan. It looks intricate without using overly complex stitches which makes it very satisfying to work up. I named the pattern Churned Butter as the lace looks like repeating swirls and ripples.

Construction:
The pattern provides instructions to work a pair of gloves with a thumb gusset. There are two design options, fingerless gloves/mitts or full-finger gloves.

Sizes:
S/M for hand width of 8.5cm/3.3 inches, or L/XL for hand width of 9.5cm/3.7 inches.

Requirements:
The pattern is worked in Drops Nord, and you will need at least 2 balls of 50g for the full finger gloves. You can substitute for an alternative 4ply yarn if the gauge is met on 2.5mm (US 1.5) needles and stockinette stitch.
