This is a lovely pattern for socks that would be suitable for an intermediate skill level. They feature a mock cable stitch that uses yarn overs and slipped stitches to create an hourglass effect. I named it Little Gem as the pattern reminds me of a string of cut gemstones in the way it tucks in around an eyelet.

Construction:
The pattern provides instructions to work a pair of toe-up socks that are knitted in the round and feature a german short row heel.

Sizes:
The sizes are S (M, L, X-L) or 8.5 (9, 9.5, 10) inch foot circumference. You will also find instructions on how and where to include a mini-gusset if you have a high instep.

Requirements:
The pattern is worked in Drops Fabel, and you will need at least 2 balls of 50g. You can substitute for an alternative sock yarn, Drops Fabel is 16WPI or a light 4ply equivalent.
