Design
Cinder Rose features simple bands of stockinette that are broken up by contrast garter stripes. This crescent shape of this shawl is made using simple yarn overs. Every right side row is increased by 2 stitches and every wrong side row is increased by 4. A delicate lace edging is added to the shawl as the live stitches are bound off. The edging is charted but includes written directions.

Skills Required
This is a simple shawl body but the knitted-on edging is more advanced, so I encourage you to view them before trying the pattern. They’ll give you a better idea of the skill level needed to create this shawl.
