I wanted to make a colourful sweater that still would be easy to wear and match, and the result was this stripy little thing. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.

The sweater is seamless, knitted flat from the top down, with short row shaping for the front and the button band picked up and knitted last.

The sizes are based on measurements, easiest is to measure across the body just under the armpits of a sweater that fits well. Sizes avaliable are:
0 - 40 cm
1 – 45 cm
2 – 50 cm
3 – 56 cm
4 – 60 cm
5 – 65 cm
6 – 71 cm
but it’s easy to adjust size with gauge.

The pattern is not for absolute beginners, you need to be able to work from basic instructions and charts and do a bit of independent thinking. That said, it’s not difficult, and I always do my best to help if needed.

Required skills include short rows, m1, buttonholes, picking up stitches, temporary cast on, and reading charts.

And there is a hat to match :)
