The Circles and Ridges Baby Blanket is an Easy pattern and color adaptable for baby boys or girls. Each square is worked in the round, then joined to the others with a single crochet seam to create the ridged look. A ridge is also created around each circle by working in the 3rd loop and using an invisible join. Don’t sweat it if you don’t know how to use those crochet techniques yet…I’ve included photo tutorials for each.

This blanket is a great project for young or new crocheters, and you can buddy-crochet it with a friend! Have everyone in your crochet group create one or two squares, then stitch them together and donate the blanket to a local women’s shelter or hospital.
