In the first book of Outlander, Claire is torn between returning to Frank and staying with Jamie. In this crocheted double wrap cowl, Jamie Fraser is one half of the cowl and Frank Randall, the other; one color for each man. In each half, the stitches tell the story of Claire’s life being intertwined with each man (basket weave), being given a ring in marriage by each man (semi-filet), and that to reach the other man she must pass through the standing stones (post stitch). This cowl is worked in Honey Girl Farm Honey sport yarn: as pictured, one skein of Pure Silver to represent Frank Randall and one skein of Cabernet to represent Jamie Fraser.

Size: 10” by 68” circumference after wet blocking. This is superwash yarn and grows lengthwise after wet blocking. Before blocking, this cowl measured 10” by 55” and after blocking was 10” by 68”.
