We all have a go-to pattern. Something you love working up every time. The thing you like to give as a gift. The pattern you use to picture how all the pretty yarn you see will work up. Maybe you have a go-to pattern for different things - your favorite hat pattern, favorite scarf, favorite market tote. Well, this is my favorite, go-to blanket pattern, and I just know it’s going to be yours, too!

The pattern as written is sized for 30”x36”. There are instructions for increasing the size. This smallest size takes around 785 total yards of yarn. If you were to make a blanket sized 60”x72”, you would need around 3000 yards of yarn.

Gauge is worked in the pattern stitch.

The pattern is written using 3 colors, but you can use as few or as many colors as you want.

This pattern works up so fast for me, but is so beautiful when finished. I can’t wait to see your finished blankets - solid colors, color blocks, stripes - tag me on your favorite social media channel @YarnyBird and #yarnybird!
