Metallic Luxe… what a soft and luxurious yarn! With the slight metallic thread running thoughout this yarn, the shine just adds to the elegant and fashionable look to the finished garment. This colourway is called Diamond and is a soft off-white.
I knit this design in Broken Rib Stitch to add the elasticity and snug fit that my granddaughter Tatianna wanted to experience with this pullover. It hugs the body and yet can stretch as much as four more inches if need be. The raglan sleeves are long and hit the middle of the hand as requested but one could shorten them if need be. The body of the pullover also extends to below the hips for warmth - it could also be shortened if need be but the style is LONG for the young ladies just now.
The neckline of this design is worked in rib stitch and is just to the shoulder bones. If one wanted to extend this neckline into a cowl neck or even a turtleneck you can just continue on the same stitches for more rows. However my gd does not like a high neckline so I cast off at the shoulder and created a smooth circular neckline in this design.

Easy, quick to knit and such a lovely yarn coming off your needles. This is one design that will delight you (the knitter) and impress the young lady who won’t want to take it off!
