Clematis is a lace wrap that resembles climbing flower vines. This wrap is easy to make, with only one repeated pattern row on the purl side, alternating with plain knit rows. It’s a great way to show off two yarns that work well with each other, particularly hand dyes. The pattern includes suggestions on how to increase or decrease the size, and some hints to make the lace sections easier to count.

This version used:

  • Less than 1 skein (1200 yds) of Miss Babs Yearning in Across the Universe
  • 1 skein (400 yds) of Miss Babs Yet in Amethyst

Both are heavy laceweight. It can be made in heavier yarns for a more substantial feel, and seasonal colors for other times of year.
