I’m super excited to bring you the third design in the Connemara Collection.
Meet the Clifden Bay Cap!
Featuring the same motif elements as the Clifden Bay Tank, inspired by the views at Clifden Bay in the Connemara region of Western Ireland.

Coastal waves, stormy blues, and sea spray, are all represented in the simple motifs featured in this piece. Together they create a cozy and classic piece perfect for long strolls along a windy coastline, or an afternoon gazing out at the sailboats in the bay.

The cap is worked bottom up, in the round, beginning with corrugated ribbing.
The main piece is then worked as stranded colorwork finishing with decrease shaping.

My sample is knitted up in BC Garn Bio Shetland, a fingering weight yarn, on size US 4/3.5 needles.

The pattern is sized Kids Medium/Large through Adult Medium/Large.
