About:
The Clifden Shawl is named after the largest town in Connemara, which is nestled between the Twelve Bens mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean, at the mouth of Clifden Bay. The area is recognized worldwide for its rich landscape and heritage. Clifden is known for hosting many wonderful festivals—and this pattern was written with thoughts of being wrapped up in this cozy shawl wandering around seeing all there is to offer at the various festivals. From music festivals with musicians and dancers performing in the streets to the Pony Show or the Clifden Arts Festival. This cozy shawl will keep you comfortable and allow you to enjoy anything your heart desires.

This timeless  slipped-stitch triangle shaped shawl—with both written and charted directions—is easy enough for a confident beginner knitter but engaging enough for an advanced one. Written for two sizes, so you can choose what fits best into your wardrobe. This is a piece that can be reached for time and again.
