This pair of vintage inspired hats were fun to design and make. The beret has an asymmetric band and the cloche also has asymmetric shaping along one side. Easy enough for even a beginner to complete in two or three evenings.

One size fits most. Adjust sizing by blocking for custom fit.

Any sock weight (#2) yarn can be substituted for the yarn I used. The Millefiori Light by Berroco comes in such beautiful colors and is so soft against the skin. NatureSpun Sport weight is a lighter sport weight than most and comes in every color of the rainbow. The cloche uses less yarn than the beret, about 200 yards and the beret uses about 300 yards. Mix the sock yarn scraps in your stash! I can’t wait to make myself a scrappy version!
