Every home has this special space of serenity, where everything else is washed away. Somewhere where your mind can find its rest, of which it is deprived during the long hours of the day. This one spot which calms you in a way nothing else can.
Perhaps is it in the comfort of a couch, beneath the warmth of a blanket, a calming show on the telly. Or is it perhaps in your favourite armchair, in front of the warmth of a cracking fire, as the cold air outside is kept well at bay.
As you sink deeper into the warm cushion, the only thing
left is the familiar, never-ending clink of needles. It is a calming sound as you knit stitch after stitch, round upon round. More familiar than the steady beat of your own heart. The craft in your hands keeps you occupied as the hours pass by as if were they mere seconds.
So, find your special space of serenity and be invited to this, my new version of Cloette’s Sport Socks.
