Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton (worsted weight 4) is perfect for these cozies. It is soft and comfortable, and with so many beautiful colors and prints, you’ll have a hard time choosing just one. These cozies only require 30-37 yards, so they are a great way to use any partial skeins.

These cozies will fit standard sized, convenience store-type paper coffee cups if your initial chain meets the stated length.

All of these cozies start with a foundation chain row - either sc foundation or hdc foundation. If you aren’t sure about foundation starting rows, there are many helpful tutorials and videos available. Being that the starting rows here are relatively short in length (7 ¾-8”), this is a great project to learn and get comfortable with foundation starting rows.

All of these cozies can be very easily adjusted to be larger or smaller. Simply add or subtract a multiple of 2 to the foundation chain, and proceed with the instructions, using your total multiple of 2 as the total number of stitches per round.
