The Colmena Shawl is a fun and fast growing pattern with a surprisingly easy to memorize cable stitch, worked flat and sideways from one tip to the other. This pattern is a collaboration with Miss Babs Yarns and call for their delicious Big Silk base. Squishy, cozy and big, this shawl is perfect to wrap yourself in when the temperatures start to drop.

185 x 80 cm/74 x 32 in (wingspan x depth)

YARDAGE
870 m/950 yd of worsted weight yarn.

Sample features Miss Babs Yarns Big Silk 60% Merino wool, 40% cultivated silk 494 m/250 g (540 yd/8.8 oz) in colorway Roasted Pumpkin.

NEEDLES
5 mm/US 8 needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Circular needles with 80 cm/32 in cable length or longer are recommended to accommodate all stitches comfortably.
