The pattern for this cowl is only available as a pattern download included in the Materials Tab for the Craftsy class entitled “Knit Faster with Continental Knitting: Color and Texture.”

Try Tunisian Knit Stitch, Mosaic Knitting, Vertically Stranded Color Work, and more.

It is pictured here in Rowan Kid Classic, about nine balls total depending on your color choices. In the curriculum it is also seen knitted in seven colors, one ball of each, of Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted. Lots of yarns will work. The Kid Classic is a lofty yarn because of the mohair, and knitted up at worsted gauge it makes a lovely, plush garment. The Pure Wool, because it does not have mohair, is easier for a beginner to work with. Pick whatever you love.

The class sells for $39.99, but the links I have provided here enable you to purchase it for $19.99. This in an entire two hours of online learning, with the pattern included. Once purchased, you can view the lessons any time you like, as many times as you like, and you can ask me questions about the pattern and the instruction there. (I prefer to keep all the Q&A over there at Craftsy so everyone benefits.)

Thanks for your interest,
Lorilee
