The Colorful Toffee Socks are a sweet little tribute to the magic of childhood—when a jar full of bright, crinkly-wrapped toffees could light up your whole day.
Designed with versatility in mind, these socks are perfect for using up leftover yarns from your stash. Each stripe becomes a chance to showcase a different scrap, making every pair unique and full of personality.
Whether you’re knitting for cozy comfort or a colorful walk down memory lane, the Colorful Toffee Socks are a joyful, stash-busting project that’s as fun to make as it is to wear.

This pattern is a featured design in our Toe-Up Sockalong 2025.

Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle, 40” (100 cm) for magic loop, or double-pointed needles (DPNs) as preferred. Substitute needle size as necessary to obtain gauge. A tapestry needle is also needed for finishing.
Yarn: This pattern is designed to use leftover yarns. I have used fingering weight leftovers from my previous projects. You can substitute with any fingering-weight sock yarn.
