This bag was inspired by the look of Fair Isle and the colors of the American Southwest. It’s made using Koigu premium wool yarn.

The bag is designed to be worn either as a backpack or a shoulder bag.

This pattern requires intermediate level crochet skills. The pattern is very detailed ( with pictures ) that guide you through the entire process.

Koigu is a beautiful yarn that can be worked on a range of hook sizes. When it’s worked on a small hook ( as I did in this pattern ) it creates a wonderfully dense fabric that resembles a tapestry.

I purchase my yarn at FoxyKnits, where you’ll find a wide array of colors from which to choose. The pattern requires 4 skeins of yarn and a 6/1.80mm hook.
