About this Pattern
To celebrate and showcase Skein Sisters’ new Fabulous Sock yarn range, I designed this large, asymmetrical, three-skein shawl. It’s a relaxing, easy knit and the perfect companion for TV knitting, travel knitting or for when you just need a palate cleanse after a difficult project! Choose three skeins of beautiful yarn and let them do all the work as they drift in and out of each knitted section, creating blocks of colour, swirling stripes and interesting textures. Whilst it’s a simple and easy knit; the colour and pattern changes keep it interesting and you’ll be finished before you know it!

Yarn
Skein Sisters Fabulous Sock
80% Australian Extra Fine Superwash Merino/ 20% Nylon
400m/100g

I’ve used 3 skeins of Skein Sisters Fabulous Sock. The colours I’ve used are detailed below. You won’t need the full skein of each colour, but how much you use depends on your gauge. The amount of yarn I used for each colour was:

Colour A - As You Wish (Pink/Purple) 90g/360m used
Colour B - Limelight (Light Green) 90g/360m used
Colour C - Olive You (Dark Green) 60g/240m used

You will mostly see colours A & B when wearing the shawl. A strong colour C will provide a nice accent and break up A & B.

Needle
4mm Circular Knitting Needles (80-100cm cable). The needles need to be circular so that you’re able to complete the Chunky Garter Ridge sections.

Other Materials
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends and blocking pins for shaping the finished shawl.
