Hey everyone!

Here is a cozy cowl you’ll love to knit. The different yarn weights give it a great texture and the simple offset feather and fan lace pattern is easy to follow. It’s a great stash buster project for using up those small balls of left over yarn from sweaters or other bulky projects. I love a self-striping yarn for the worsted weight (I used silk garden), but it would look just as great in a coordinating solid colour.

The braided edge is optional; you can always skip it and get to the ribbing if you don’t want the hassle. Lastly, I recommend blocking this cowl because it really evens out the pattern. Don’t be alarmed if it looks a little funny before you block it.

If you have any questions at all just send me a message!

Happy knitting!
