Knit mostly in plain stockinette with a colourful fair isle design around the palm of the hand these fingerless mittens are perfect for days where you need to ward off the chill even in the house, want a second layer on your hands under your regular mittens, or if it’s just warm enough for bare fingers but not bare hands.

Five colours are used but the amount of yarn for the four contrast colours is so small that this is a perfect stash-busting project.
