One of trends - More Emphasis on Knitting What You Have! Lots of people are reducing consuming. If you have some yarn stash, this pattern is exactly what you need! Use any oddments you have to form colourful braids (cords). Not only will you be the proud owner of a one-off unique design garment, but you will also have reduced the amount of yarn hiding in every cupboard (because we’ve all done it!!).
Even it looks complicated it is a great way of knitting without learning a new technique. The braid (cord) is formed on the reverse stockinette stitch side of the knitting. Before and between the braid rows, work as many reverse stockinette rows as you like.
The Colourful Braids Sweater features a high neck, dropped shoulders, long sleeves, which balloon into rolled cuffs. Team the sweater with biker boots, leggings or simple jeans to complete the look. Follow the pattern instructions for longer length and you will make a warm dress for cold season.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
• 20 x 50g balls (1500m or 1640,42yds) using Drops Nepal Grey Mix (shade 0501). NB If you substitute another yarn, please check gauge (tension) and yardage and adjust accordingly.
• 5 x 50g balls (375m or 410yds) Drops Nepal (your choice).
• 1 Circular needle 10.00mm x length 100cm (US 15).
• 1 Tapestry needle.

Length: Mid, (long).
Sweater length (from top of the shoulders) - 70cm/ 27.6ins (86cm/ 33.9ins).
Sweater flat width (just below armhole) - 52cm/20.5ins (60cm2/3.62ins).
Total sleeve length (unrolled from top of shoulders) - 72cm/28.4ins (76cm/29.9ins).
Sleeve flat width (just below armhole) - 15cm (5.9ins).
