The Columbia Shawl is inspired by the timeless style of the Art Deco period of architecture and design born a century ago. It features the clean lines and geometric symmetry synonymous with the Streamline Moderne movement. The simple garter stitch construction and monochromatic palette allow the focus to rest on the texture of the yarns. Its opposing congruent triangles are worked seamlessly in garter stitch, increasing from one side to the center and then decreasing to the other side. The combination of Solo single ply Merino and Gossamer kid mohair and silk gives this shawl a lighter-than-air softness, beautiful drape, and substantial warmth.

Yarn required: 2 skeins Barker Wool Solo & 1 Skein Barker Wool Gossamer in Ring.

Finished size: approximately 84” wide x 40” deep.
