Can you feel that chill in the air? Can you hear the rustle of the leaves? It’s time to pull out your favorite pair of boots, as Fall is on the way! Combat socks are a great addition to any outfit this Fall and Winter. The lovely bobbles at the top of the sock add a “peeking pleasure” and unique design to your outfit. The fit also is made to be at a slightly tighter gauge as to fit well into a pair of boots. If you are knitting these socks to any area higher than mid calf, please take cast on count into account. These socks were designed with combat boots in mind, but can be worn with any footwear.

Sizes for this pattern include a 56(60,64,72) stitch cast on and will accommodate most adults and teens.

Pattern uses fingering weight yarn. Depending on how long you want to make the sock on the leg, and what size shoe you wear, you may need more than one skein of yarn to finish a pair.
