The pattern on this Tunisian crochet cowl looks like ripples on the top of a long sea wave, or comber. Created flat and sewn, this kerchief style cowl can be made in an overlap (blue/Mountain dusk) or non-overlap (green/Sage brush) version. Made with sport weight yarn, the overlap version requires 310 yards, and the non-overlap version requires 250 yards. Each of the samples pictured were created with one skein of Mrs. Hartman’s Farmhouse Market Leicester Longwool single ply. Instructions and pictures of how to work the cable stitch that forms the ripples are provided in this pattern.
