Oh these blues! They say “just add water” to have the perfect summer day. And who doesn’t love to watch a sailing regatta as it goes around the cowl? This is a fingering weight cowl done on size 4 needles so it is loose and drapey. It casually wards off any summer evening chill. Try it as an easy introduction to stranded knitting or as a quick tv show binge watch knit. Gauge isn’t critical and the cowl can be increased or decreased in 24 stitch increments. I used three 400 yard skeins of Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply with plenty left over from my LYS, Fibre Space in Alexandria VA. The pattern references great You Tube videos for stranded knitting, so sail right in!
