The Fall Festival of Leaves cowl is a DK weight cowl that heralds the arrival of autumn. It can be done in traditional fall colors or even your favorite school or team’s colors for those chilly outdoor events. It is knit with a striped section to fold inside to cover floats so they can never snag on anything!

It is sized to be a snug single wrap but can be increased easily by adding additional column repeats, per the instructions. Gauge isn’t critical, as it drapes nicely at any length.

Materials needed: This cowl was made with Miss Babs Yowza, DK weight 100% super wash merino yarn; one full skein (560 yds with plenty left over) in White Peppercorn, and two mini-skeins (200 yds) in French Marigold and Caroline.
Needles are 4mm/ US 6, 32”/80 cm circular needles. Stitch markers (regular and one removable) and a tapestry needle are required.
