This blanket is made using the double crochet V stitch (which utilizes only double crochets), and the border is made with simple single crochets making this a very beginner friendly pattern. It also works up relatively quickly so is perfect if you need to get it done in a hurry. The pattern includes pictures for clarification and a YouTube link as well in case extra help is needed as you are working on it. The colors are traditional Christmas colors, but with slightly muted tones giving the blanket a very homey and comfortable vibe. It’s warm and toasty as well without feeling overly heavy, and beckons people within reach to snuggle up underneath it while watching their favorite Christmas movie and sipping hot chocolate, egg nog, mulled cider, or other favorite holiday drink.

This pattern is written in US terms.
