Commuovere (Italian) – to be moved in a heartwarming way, usually relating to a story that moved you to tears.

Commuovere is a romantic garment, one that tells a story of life and love. A striking piece with tapestry motifs that evoke true emotions, it is worked top-down, mostly in rounds. Starting with a ribbed neckline, the yoke sports short rows at the back of the neck for a perfect fit. The whole garment is worked in central single crochet (waistcoat stitch) for a knitted look. After working the yoke, the body is separated from the sleeves and finished with another colorwork motif and a ribbed hem. The sleeves are then worked in the armhole openings in one main color and finished off with a ribbed cuff.
