If you love the tale Snow Gueen by Hans Christian Andersen, you will be delighted to make this mirror and feel as the Snow Queen or little Gerda, whichever character speaks to you more.

Crochet level:
- Intermediate.

You should know how to crochet following stitches:
ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), dc (double crochet).

This pattern includes:

Crochet hook:
- 1 mm, 1.8 mm.

Recommended materials:

  • small amounts of Lithuanian linen yarn 3 ply (available at YarnStories store on Etsy) in 104 natural and 503 purple colors or crochet cotton thread size 10 in 2 colors;
  • tapestry needle, hand-sewing needle, sewing thread in natural linen (light gray) and purple colors;
  • 5.5 mm in diameter needle or pencil, compass;
  • Artminds TM mirror 3’’/7.5 cm in diameter (max 3-1/8’’/8 cm), available at Michael’s;
  • plastic canvas;
  • 4’’ x 8’’ /10 x 20- cm piece of of light colored fleece fabric;
  • fabric glue.

Size, gauge:
- mirror and snowflake are about 3 3/4’’/9.5 cm in diameter.
