The intertwined cables on these socks evoke our connections - each node is connected to all the others, just as we are brought together through our communities.

The pattern assumes familiarity with cabling and basic cuff-down sock construction techniques. It will go a lot faster if you know how to work cables without a cable needle - I have not included a tutorial for this in the pattern since there are a number of good ones, such as this one, already available. The cable pattern is currently provided only in charted form.

Four sizes are included:
Small (57 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 7 inch foot)
Medium (65 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 8 inch foot)
Large (73 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 9 inch foot)
Extra Large (81 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 10 inch foot)

These fit a bit tighter than a stockinette sock with the same stitch count, but the large amount of ribbing makes the fit fairly forgiving.

If you’re printing the pattern in black and white, you’ll want to make note of the highlighted columns on the chart.
