This scarf starts as a crosswise rectangle; stitches are picked up along both long sides, and at the edges. From there the scarf is knitted in the round, in garter stitch, with mitred corners.

You can make it any size, but this particular scarf ended up 7.5” x 60”.

Gauge is immaterial; use the combination of needle size and yarn that makes a fabric you like.

As well as one ball of Lion Brand Mandala, I used 1-2 oz of a similar weight (dk) yarn in white for the central rectangle, and 1 oz dk scrap yarn for the cast-on.
