The feeling of cashmere and wool around the neck is a feeling of pure contentment. This garter and lace cowl combines easy knitting with a gorgeous yarn for a simple yet luxurious project. Worked in the round, the lace pattern builds gradually and keeps the knitting interesting and quick. Pattern instructions are written.

The Contentment Cowl is the first pattern in the Winter Comfort Collection which also includes the Sustenance Scarf, Indulgence Wrap, Tranquility Infinity Scarf, and Gratification Hat. This is a collection of 5 cold weather accessory patterns in neutral colours and natural fibres.

This pattern uses one skein of Plucky Knitter SNUG Worsted. The colour shown here is oatmeal.

Finished measurements: Approximately 15 inches (38 cm) long and 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) wide laid flat, after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 30 inches (76 cm).

Skills required: knitting and purling in the round, basic lace knitting, binding off loosely. Stitches used: k, p, k2tog, yo, SKP.
