Conversation Heart Mask
Welcome to this funny, cute, and a little creepy mask!
The conversation heart is a classic Valentine’s Day staple, and now you can BE one!
Details:
The mask is made using double stranded worsted yarn and an H hook and you need about 100 yards for that. It is held on the face using simple chain ties and there is options for smaller or larger eye holes and a mouth opening or no mouth opening.
NOTE! The words are embroidered on using a chain stitch. In the pattern, I give you a short tutorial on how it is done, but this does take some practice. You can also opt to sew them on with straight stiches, use puff paint, scrapbooking letter stickers or patches glued on with E6000 are some other options.
This pattern is English language, fully tested, and a written pattern using standard crochet terminology. It is rated intermediate. There are 10 pages, uses standard font, has a plain background on the pages, and has 18 images to show certain parts.
