Inspired by the blue and gold colors of the Montana State University Bobcats. Two colors of self-striping Reggae Ombre, along with simple fair isle patterns and stripes, create the illusion of complex patterning. Perfect for other self-striping yarns too - be sure to choose two completely different, contrasting colorways.

This is a great hat pattern for a beginner just learning to change colors for stripes and includes just a few rows of a simple fair isle pattern.

Designed to fit snug like a beanie without folding the ribbed brim. The ribbing edge could easily be lengthened for a fold up ribbed brim, or lengthen the body of the hat for a slouchy look too.
