This crochet pattern is for a matching blanket and cushion cover set. The design uses two-colour solid granny squares arranged together to make attractive chevrons. The zingy colours of the yarn used in this design have a lovely fresh feel to them, making the finished items great accessories for the home in summer.

The pattern was first published in Crochet Now magazine, issue 58.

Yarn used:
Cygnet DK: 5 balls in White 203 (Main Colour), 2 balls each in Daffodil 145 (Contrast Colour 1), Peppermint 178 (Contrast Colour 2) and Pink 065 (Contrast Colour 3)

DK, 298m per 100g ball, 100% acrylic

Tension:
Five round square: 10cm
Four round square: 8 cm

Hook used:
4mm

Other supplies:
36cm square cushion pad, tassel maker or piece of 10cm cardboard
