Bright tulips of every color that welcome spring time and usher out the winter blues are a delight to behold. That was the inspiration for this oversized cowl. After all, who doesn’t love to see a field full of happy tulips?

This oversized & squishy cowl is sure to become your favorite cowl to wear. In this cowl you will get to experiment with; a picot hem, three different stitch patterns (two variations of tuck stitch and a smocked twisted rib), and a textured bobble bind off. I also love that you could take any of the three stitch patterns that make up this cowl, use them individually and create different variations of this cowl.

You will need:

  • Two skeins (204 yards) of Plymouth Baby Alpaca Worsted (100 Natural)
  • One skein (210 yards) of Madelinetosh Pashmina Worsted (Prism)
  • One skein (219 yards) of Hedgehog Fibres DK (Potluck)
  • 24 inch US 8 needle
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch marker
