Seeing animals in the wild is one of my favorite things. I’ll never forget the first time I felt like I saw a wild animal; we were on Fire Island for the summer and had walked miles and miles down the beach to the incredible Sunken Forest. As we rested by the dunes upon our arrival, we saw two copper foxes sitting and staring at us. We watched them as they playfully bounced towards the horizon, as happy as can be. This Van Dyke lace reminds me of those little copper foxes, staring back at us.

This cowl is knit seamlessly in the round, and features a charted and written lace pattern throughout. One full skein of DK weight yarn is required. It sits nicely on the neck with a bit of slouch, and a generous 24” circumference makes it suitable for anyone to wear!
