I make and sell knitwear and am always looking to add more variety and texture to the shelves. I also LOVE a simple, but interesting pattern. The Copper Harbor Cowl is easy, satisfying and knits up quickly.

The Copper Harbor Cowl pattern comes with instructions to make a quick and simple cowl with super bulky yarn like Malabrigo Rasta.

The pattern is written for two adult sizes and can easily be adapted. One size is slightly wider, and either size can be made in two different heights. Larger cast on with the taller cowl option may take a few yards more than one 90 yd skein, please plan accordingly.

Pattern calls for US Size 17 (12.75mm) needles, but 17 (12.0mm) needles should also work and not cause gauge issues.

The cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up.
