Description
The Coral Bloom Cardigan is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom in back-and-forth rows using stockinette stitch.

After the cast-on, the shoulders and front sections are shaped first before the body and sleeves are worked separately.
The sleeves feature a gentle balloon shape. They are finished with a simple I-cord bind off.
The cardigan is designed to be worn open and does not include buttons or buttonholes. A continuous mohair ruffle edging frames the front opening and extends around the entire neckline and outer edge of the cardigan.

Needles
5.0 mm circular needle for the body and ruffle .
A cable length of 100–150 cm is strongly recommended, as stitches are picked up around the entire outer edge of the cardigan, including the front bands, neckline and back neck.

Up to size M, a 100 cm cable is usually sufficient.
For sizes L and XL, a 150 cm cable is recommended.

Shorter cables will not provide enough space for the large number of stitches required for the ruffle edging.

The Coral Bloom Cardigan is designed as an open-front cardigan. The front panels do not overlap or close across the body.
Because of this open construction, no traditional ease measurement is provided.

If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a more fitted look or the larger size for additional drape and comfort.

Please note that all measurements are approximate. Every knitted garment is unique and variations can occur depending on knitting style, yarn choice, needle size and individual tension.

The body and sleeve lengths can easily be adjusted to your personal preference.

Beschreibung
Der Coral Bloom Cardigan wird nahtlos von oben nach unten in Hin- und Rückreihen glatt rechts gestrickt.
Nach dem Anschlag werden zunächst die Schulter- und Vorderteilbereiche geformt, bevor Körper und Ärmel getrennt weitergearbeitet werden.
Die Ärmel sind leicht ballonartig gearbeitet und laufen sanft zum Handgelenk hin zusammen. Abgeschlossen werden sie mit einem schlichten I-Cord-Rand.
Der Cardigan ist offen konstruiert und kommt ohne Knöpfe oder Knopflöcher aus. Eine durchgehende Mohair-Volant-Blende umrahmt die Vorderkanten und verläuft rund um den Halsausschnitt sowie die gesamte Außenkante des Designs.

Hinweis zum Garnverbrauch
Wenn du den Cardigan länger stricken möchtest, solltest du entsprechend mehr Garn einplanen

Nadeln
Rundstricknadel 5,0 mm für Körper und Volant-Blende.
Für die Volant-Blende werden Maschen entlang der gesamten Außenkante des Cardigans aufgenommen – entlang der Vorderkanten, des Halsausschnitts und des Rückenteils.
Daher wird ein Seil von 100–150 cm Länge dringend empfohlen.
Bis Größe M reicht in der Regel ein 100 cm langes Seil aus.
Für die Größen L und XL empfehle ich ein 150 cm langes Seil.
Kürzere Seile bieten nicht ausreichend Platz für die hohe Maschenzahl der Volant-Blende.

Passform & Maße
Der Coral Bloom Cardigan ist ein offen gearbeiteter Cardigan, dessen Vorderteile sich nicht schließen und nicht überlappen.
Aufgrund dieser offenen Konstruktion wird kein klassischer Bewegungsspielraum angegeben.
Wenn du zwischen zwei Größen liegst, wähle die kleinere Größe für einen figurbetonteren Sitz oder die größere Größe für mehr Weite und Bewegungsfreiheit.
