Coralillo is one of two YOTH hats I designed for quick gift knitting this December, and I think they make a great pair - so if you would like both of them - Minero and Coralillo, the code GIFTHATS2 will get you the two PDFs for $10.**

Coralillo is a squishy textured hat that’s super satisfying to work and beautifully distinct in this yarn. A combination of simple 1/1 cables and purl stitches creates a lovely allover “woven” pattern on the body of the hat. It’s simple and eye-catching and allows for a delicate brim ribbing and a beautiful crown decrease.

I worked the hat in a single skein of YOTH Father (in Wheatgrass) to create a fun, bold accessory, with a pop of color. In a gray or neutral, this would a more subdued classic hat. For how it looks without pom, check the test knit done by hummandknit - the crown shaping is just lovely when it’s not hidden under a pom.

Both Zoe and Craig stole this one from me for the photos. Zoe is adorable in it, but I think Craig may have been better served in a pale gray version with no pom… Then Misa turned the camera on me too. :)
