Cordes-sur-Ciel is a beautiful medieval mountain village in the south of France. Its atmosphere, a cosy isolated place in the middle of a stunning landscape, is a knitwear fantasy.
I wanted to create socks that would fit with those textured jumpers and plaid blankets we all love in these perfect winter sceneries.

The Cordes socks feature a minimalistic front line of diamonds made with simple but engaging twisted stitches.
I think this texture works perfectly with more rustic wool but it will show off beautifully with any sock yarn.
