Corgi Blanket
Level 2-Advanced (angle stitches)
Bring the joyful spirit of the Corgi to life—one stitch at a time!
This overlay mosaic crochet pattern features the charm of the beloved Corgi: bright eyes, perky ears, and that famous smile.
This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet. Detailed instructions, photos, and video tutorials will guide you through each step of the project. With a little bit of patience and practice, you’ll be a pro in no time!
If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. https://shop.heathernobledesigns.com/products/heart-mug-rug This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key.
There is space in the design to personalize your blanket with a name. I have several alphabet fonts available that fit this space nicely (sold separately). https://www.ravelry.com/bundles/alphabets-21

This pattern is divided into 6 sections (5 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have also included a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
Special thanks to Julie Colburn for testing this pattern.
