The Cortado Socks are a perfect balance of cushy, slightly heavier weight yarn and a relaxing easy to memorise pattern that makes them knit up in next to no time. If you are more familiar with knitting fingering weight socks then using DK will be a pleasant surprise.

These cosy cuff-down socks use a straightforward 4-round repeat that you will soon get the hang of, yet it looks more complicated than it actually is.

A note on yardage: 1 x 100g DK skein (approx 240m) is sufficient for one pair of M socks (up to UK size 6). If knitting the larger size, or if you are knitting size M with a longer leg/foot you will need a second skein of yarn, or sufficient DK yarn for contrast heels/toes - 20-30g DK approx.
