ABOUT PATTERN
The Cosma Tube Top is worked back and forth from side to
side on circular needles. First knit half of the back, then the front,
then the other half of the back. Pick up stitches along the upper
edge to work the chest band and insert the elastic.
Color changes will not be shown in this pattern. The purpose
of this pattern is to let your creativity flow and use your
leftover yarn.

SIZES
XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL)
Sizes above correspond to the following chest circumference:
(81-86) 87-92 (93-98) 99-104 (105-110) 111-116 cm
Measure your chest circumference to determine which size will
fit you the best.
Garter stitch is very stretchy, if you are between two sizes,
choose the size down.

MEASURMENTS
The Cosma Tube Top is designed to have approx. 30 cm of
negative ease, meaning it is designed to be 30 cm less wide in
circumference than your chest measurement.
Measurements are indicated on the diagrams, page 4.

YARN AND MATERIALS
Approx. 130 (150) 170 (190) 210 (230) g of leftover yarn.
For the Cosma Top in the photos, the following yarns were used:
Friends Cotton 8/4 from HOBBII, 2 strands held together.
Circular needles 4 mm 80 cm to pick up chest band sts
Circular needles 5 mm 80 cm to work the body
Crochet 5 or 5,5 mm
Elastic 1 cm in width
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
The gauge is indicated without blocking.
17 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch, 5 mm circular
needles.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above.
Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on
10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few
stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
