These folk patterned socks, sized for adults, are quickly knit using a circular needle. The 4-color patterned bands are interesting to work, making this long casual sock fun to knit. Easy to size up for wider legs and customize for any foot length. Finish off with suede slipper soles for longer wear.

Make a gauge swatch: With #7 needle and 2 colors, cast on 20 stitches. Knit in any color pattern for 10 rows. Bind off. Wash your swatch like you will wash your socks. After it is dry, measure across the middle 3” and figure your gauge here. Work at it, changing needle sizes if necessary, until you get 4 stitches = 1” (wide width) or 4.5 stitches = 1” (medium width)
