I love covered bridges! Sadly, over the years covered bridges are slowly disappearing. My inspiration for this design is the covered bridge in Smithtown New Brunswick. I grew up swimming in the Hammond River below this bridge. It is beautiful and one of my favorite spots.

Size:
One size fits most women’s S/M sized hands. Size can be changed by adjusting gauge.

Gauge:
32 stitches x 37 rows = 4”

Materials:
•Yarn: Tukuwool fingering in colorways: H20 Hohka 35g/149 yds and 01 Sake 24 g/102 yds.
•Needles: US 1 - 2.25mm for the ribbing and US 1½ - 2.5mm for the rest of the mitten. I use 9” circular needles; however magic loop or DPN’s would work equally as well.
•A bit of scrap yarn
•Tapestry needle
