Campobello Island is one of my favorite camping spots. It’s a beautiful little island in the bay of Fundy in New Brunswick. Whenever we are there, we always visit Head Harbour Lightstation. So I designed a pair of colorwork mittens inspired by this beautiful lighthouse.

Size:
One size fits most women’s S/M sized hands. Size can be changed by adjusting gauge.

Gauge:
32 stitches x 40 rows = 4”

Materials:
• Yarn: Tukuwool fingering. Colorways: kajo(blue) 20 g/85 yds, sake(white) 28 g/119 yds, and leimu(red) 2 g/9 yds.
• Needles: US 1 - 2.25mm for the cuff and US 1½ - 2.5mm for the rest of the mitten. I use 9” circular needles; however magic loop or DPN’s would work equally as well.
• A bit of scrap yarn
• Tapestry needle
